Vincenzo Coronelli Globe Gores

Coronelli was one of the greatest globe makers. He was commissioned by Louis XIV of France , for him he created a pair of manuscript globes that were 15 feet in diameter, they are now preserved in the Orangerie at Versailles. He also published globe gores as maps in atlases.
